The Garden Gates Coloring Book

After the McCoy Community Garden fence was installed at New Columbia Housing Development, a residence with over 14 different languages spoken, the Regional Arts & Culture Council & the Housing Authority of Portland felt it was important to introduce the imagery on the gates & panels to the community in a way that was accessible to all, young & old. Easter baskets were made for residents & this coloring book was included in the treats.

The images, taken from the Garden gates & panels, are accompanied by identifying translations & descriptions, international quotations & pages to color.
