This client requested a dramatic, earthy, completely no-maintenance focal point to be installed outside their family room window that would add a sense of depth to a flat, narrow, uninteresting space.
Far from static, the appearance of this stationary installation changes frequently with the position of the sun & weather. It looks quite spectacular in a coat of frost or edging of snow or as reflections & shadows dance between the fern fronds & fence .
The free standing arrangement has six, 10 gauge steel units that are bolted into a mounting tube which in turn bolts to a solid steel base plate.
